Jam Session


Here’s an easy recipe for blueberry preserves I found this morning in a sudden rush of inspiration http://www.marthastewart.com/355053/blueberry-jam


Wash the berries

Warm the sugar in the oven

Bring blueberries and sugar to boil with water



Cook for about 45 minutes, until thick



  1. This is my favourite way to make homemade jam. I don’t warm the sugar, but I do use organic turbinado which gives the same caramel note to the taste.

  2. I have really had a hankering for making some jam lately – unfortunately it is no longer berry season here! I wish I could jump through the screen and grab a spoonful of your jam – it looks delicious!
